What are you going to get when choosing a super expensive, luxurious and prestigious hotels I think first of all the feeling of security, I think you would like to know that nothing will ever happen to you in this famous international hotel, that nobody will ever dare to attack it. Sad to say it, but you are all wrong. For terrorists it doesn’t matter who you are and where you are from, their only aim is to attract attention and the bigger and richer the hotel the better.
Taj Mahal and Oberoi hotels became tombs to many tourists and I really wonder whether somebody will like to stay in them in the future 5 years. I guess people will remember the pictures of dead bodies for a long time. And even those who have never even dreamt of visiting one of these hotels one day won’t be brave enough to visit it now.
It is not the first case of attacking elite hotels. In 2002 was attacked the Marriott in Islamabad, Pakistan. 54 people were killed and more than 250 were wounded.
A series of terrorist attacks took place in many luxurious hotels of Egypt during 2004-2005. Now it is impossible to find at least one hotel without a sophisticated security system and metal detectors.
I don’t feel like spreading bad news, but most experts agree if someone would like to make a terrorist attack in this particular hotel, nothing and nobody will stop them.
